Lions Live 15/16 Ep 25: Scott Fitzgerald & Jed Wallace

Joe Amphlett was in control of the host’s chair overseeing the boys in the studio with George & Ted.

With the lions losing out to another trip to Wembley after winning the game away to Oxford 1-0 it was not enough for another jolly to our other London home of recent years which caused divided emotions among the lads in the studio.

Our first guest on the show was Scott Fitzgerald our former defender & now academy director who was talking about the now & then pointing out the future is our young cubs.

In the second half of the show Jed Wallace attacking midfielder joined us live to tell us about why he wanted to stay at wall and gave a great interview.

Lions Live 15/16 Ep 24: Andy Ambler & Joe Martin

Joe Amphlett was back in control of the host’s chair overseeing the boys in the studio with George, Graeme & Ted.

With the lions now having broken into the top 6 of the table after last Saturdays away win against Chesterfield it was enough have smiles all the way round the studio table.

Our first guest on the show was club CEO Andy Ambler bringing us up to date with the daily on goings at the club and how things are progressing.

In the second half of the show leftback Joe Martin joined us for he’s lions live debut talking about what it’s like to play for the lions and what he wants for the future.

James “Badboy” Took control of the host’s chair to keep control of the boys in the studio with George, Graeme, Ted & Special guest lifelong wall fan Tim V from Sham 69.

With the lions having a chalk & cheese week at home losing 2-0 to Oxford in the JPT & winning 3-1 against Port Vale it was a glass half empty/full debate among the lads in the studio.

Our first guest on the show was club captain Tony Craig keeping us up to date with his injury and what the mood in the club is like at the moment.

In the second half of the show we was joined by former Wall striker & now TV pundit Tony Cascarino taking us on a little trip down memory lane and giving us his honest views about the current times down the den from a pundits point of view.

Lions Live 15/16 Ep 22: Chris Davis & David Forde

Joe Amphlett was once again in the host’s chair trying to keep control of the boys in the studio George, Ted & Graeme.

With the lions winning their 1st game of 2016 away to Oldham on Saturday in the rearranged match that was abandoned back in December the mood had lifted slightly from the gloom of the festive period.

 

Our first guest on the show was Chris Davis Lions Fan & Football Journalist for Daily Star, the Daily Telegraph and Sunday People who is also the ghost writer of Alan Dunne’s new book.

We also had David Forde in the second half of the show talking about the highs & lows of the last few months of being the ever present keeper between the sticks and having to watch things from the bench.

With the lions game being postponed at late notice last Saturday the discussion in the studio was all about whether the ref had made the correction decision when all the travelling supporters had already completed the journey to Oldham.

Our first guest on the show was former lions left back Robbie Ryan talking about he’s playing days for Millwall and the 2004 FA Cup Final.

We also had young gifted lions striker Alfie Pavey in the second half of the show talking about going from playing for the under 18’s & 21’s to now being part of the 1stteam squad.

Joe Amphlett Was in the hot seat to host this week’s action packed show & to keep an eye over the boys in the studio.

It was an up & down cup week for the lions losing at home to Wycombe in the FA Cup 2nd round followed by a great away win to bombers old club Southend which sees the Lions knocking at our second home Wembley’s doors again.

Our first guest on the show was the iconic 70’s manager Gordon Jago who took us on trip down memory lane for what some older supporters considered our best decade at the old Den and what it was like to be Millwall manager.

We also had MSC Chairman Bob Asprey bring us up to date with the supporters club news and events & Tobi Alabi called in to give us an update with the latest news regarding he’s work for the Heart4More Foundation.

Joe Amphlett Once again sat in the hot seat to host this week’s all action show & tries to keep order over the boys in the studio.

It was an up & down week for the lions winning at home to Bury followed by going for a Burton away resulting in a narrow 2-1 defeat and some strange refereeing decisions which had the boys in the studio baying for blood apart from Graeme who was just baying at the moon! Even Joe had to disagree with Graeme about this season at the moment.

Our first guest on the show was stand in team captain Steve Morison talking about where the lions are now compared to the start of the season & what he and the club expect for the rest of the season along with the club he now considers is he’s home but also let he’s thoughts known about TV replays.

Our second guest on the show was 70’s icon Phil Walker talking about his time with the lions and how the games moved on along with what he’s up to now.

With the Lions having an emphatic 4-1 home win against Colchester on Saturday quickly followed by the low of losing away 2-1 to Fleetwood Town Tuesday! Was it just a case of a bad day at the office or could the long haul traveling this season now become a key factor with a small squad.

Our first guest on the show was Les Withers “The Voice of both the Old & current Den” who has being doing the stadium announcements for nearly 46 years giving us an intriguing insight into he’s routine and some of memorable times over the years.

Our second guest on the show was Lee Gregory talking about his rejuvenated form in front of goal after a stop start to life in league 1 this season along with bagging a 4 goal haul.
