November 24th, 2016

November 24th, 2016

“Gorgeous” George was in the hot seat tonight with another packed show along with the boys in the studio “Grumpy” Graeme & “Mystic” Ted.

It was a case of deja vous against Bolton on Saturday where they completed the double over the lions this season winning 2-0 again and Tuesday home match against Wimbledon was a very unimpressive 0-0 draw with the only highlight being the seagull that was getting in better positions than any of the players from both sides on the pitch.

We had two guests in the studio tonight to start the show and welcomed the legends that are Billy Neil and Barry Rowan taking us on a trip down the Cold Blow Memory Lane talking about the history making run of 59 games unbeaten with what it was like being part of that team and the stories that went with it.

In the second half of the show we were joined by former lions chairman Jeff Burnige recalling the memories he has of that great unbeaten run and what it meant to him.

Bye For Now!”

November 10th, 2016

November 10th, 2016

Delectable Danielle was back in the hot seat tonight with another packed show along with the boys in the studio “Gorgeous” George“, “Grumpy” Graeme & “Mystic” Ted.

In a week which the lions won cup ties home and away against Southend and Luton along with making it 6 wins out of 7 have the lions finally turned the corner and put the losing run behind them? With the loss of Steve Morison do we already have an instant replacement in the shape of Harry Smith who scored a brace at Luton on he’s début?

Our first guest on the show was new Millwall CEO Steve Kavanagh telling us why he decided to come to the lions and what he hopes to achieve in what say may say is one of the hardest jobs to have at the club and even the football league.

In the second half of the show we were joined by Lewisham councillor & head of the Scrutiny Committee Alan Hall talking about the CPO issue which affects not only the club but other local resident’s property surrounding the ground.

Bye For Now!”

November 3rd, 2016

November 3rd, 2016

“Gorgeous” George took over in the hot seat tonight with another packed show along with the boys in the studio “Grumpy” Graeme & “Mystic” Ted.

After Fleetwood paid the penalty the weekend before last with the lions coming out 2-1 winners at home and then winning away from home at Oxford by the same result coming from behind and what has to be a contender for goal of the season from Steve Morison to put some of the hurt to one side after the home defeat to Bolton! But yet again the Lions failed to keep clean sheets but the wins lifted the Lions up to 13th in the table 3 points of a playoff place with a game in hand but did it lift Graeme’s gloom?

Our first guest on the show was goalkeeping legend Alex Stepney who was between the sticks for the lions during the great historical unbeaten run of 59 league games taking us on a trip down Cold Blow Memory Lane and what life was like playing for the lions.

In the second half of the show we were joined by current Lions striker Harry Smith who joined the lions from Folkestone Invicta for an undisclosed fee back in August after impressing while on trial in the summer and talked about life as a lion now.

It was mixed fortunes for the Lions last week with a 3-1 away win to Northampton & a 2-0 loss at home to Bolton which led us nicely on to ringside for the main event between heavy weight champions “Sugar Free” Graeme against “Tornado” Ted for the Lions Live belt.
