Lions Live 16/17 Ep 33: Alison Leary, Brian Horne & Gary Alexander

April 20th, 2017

“Gorgeous” George was back in the hot seat tonight with another packed show along with the boys in the studio “Grumpy” Graeme, “Mystic” Ted & Johnny (Blue Bus Driver) West.

Last week saw good and bad news on the pitch with a 3-0 home win against Northampton that was quickly followed by a away defeat to Fleetwood 1-0 but the home game saw the side of Millwall fans that the media doesn’t report about when one of our fans was taken ill in the stand which is life changing but with the great match day medical staff on hand gave him every chance to pull through and the behaviour of not only our fans but also the Northampton fans just showed how football comes together as a family.

Our 1st guest on the show was Alison Leary who is the clinical lead for the match day medical service at the Den talking about how they are ready to act should a medical situation arise before during or after a match in the ground.

Our 2nd guest on the show was former shot stopper and Lions fans favourite Brian Horne jr running the rule over the season and the next 2 crucial games that could make or break the lion’s hopes of extending the season in the playoffs to get promotion back to the championship.

Our 3rd guest on the show was Former Lions striker Gary Alexander reliving he’s playoff experiences and that now famous Wembley goal that many consider to be the best one scored at the new Wembley stadium to date and what it’s like being manager of Greenwich Borough.

Bye For Now!”
